Dudley High School running back Kyree Ward, 17, relaxes in what he calls "home," the end zone at Dudley Stadium. I only had about 15 minutes of sunlight available when I took the picture, so I used a flash on the left and the fading sun as a fill light. I tried some shots where he wasn't centered in the photo but those just didn't seem to capture who he was.

This look SO much better than the last sports portrait! Great job the lighting is perfect and good job on cleaning up the background.
Danny, really nice shot! Lots of personality, good lighting, lots of context. I'm sure this assignment was difficult, too.
