Daniel Bayer, a resident of Greensboro, NC, graduated from Randolph Community College in August 2008 with a degree in photojournalism. Before attending RCC he worked at the Carolina Peacemaker, an African-American newspaper in Greensboro, covering social justice issues. While at the Peacemaker he won three North Carolina Press Association Journalism Contest Awards. His other activities include doing live sound for area bands and playing bass in the Raving Knaves and Empire for Rent.
